The Dublin City University Postgraduate Society aims to facilitate the practice of Postgraduate University Life in all its forms. DCU Postgraduate Society was re-established in 2016, to promote postgraduate student life and community, both within and outside of DCU. Since its establishment, PGS has organised numerous events such as the popular monthly ‘Pizza & Research’ event and ‘PubhD Dublin’.
As well as organising trips to both research conferences and cultural trips, we are now organising sporting events for postgraduates to socialise and keep active. Some of the sports include hiking, soccer, running, cricket and much more. If there is an event you would like to see us organise let us know. We hope to continue to make enjoyable events for the postgraduate community as it grows.
The DCU Postgraduate Society was set up with a simple objective to bring the Postgraduate community together, through events, activities and common interests. The society serves one thing and one thing only, the Postgraduate community in DCU. We strive to organise informative, enjoyable and above all social events that unite Postgraduate students from all disciplines to have fun, in a friendly welcoming environment.
We rely heavily on the community to provide us with feedback, suggestions and ideas to help make our mission a reality. The DCU Postgraduate Society Committee will continue to work tirelessly to achieve our goal of bringing the community together. So what we ask of you is to keep us informed and allow us to provide quality events that the community wants and needs. Thank you for your continued support and belief in our objectives as a society.
